How 'bout that carolina squat?!

To the owners that like the squat more power to you, haven't seen one in person besides a pre runner.
The people hating on you probably have lifts with 35's and would argue how functional the truck is. I see those guys fighting towing trailers everyday. If you've ever towed with a lifted truck with big tires you'll know what I mean..... its miserable. Its all the same...... major mods to the suspension make the truck a toy, its no longer reliable and functional!

I've seen lots of different mods and lots of different styles. Many of them do nothing for me, but at least I can understand the thought process behind it, and why the person that did that would like it. But I just can't wrap my head around this, and can't understand the logic. Why is this an improvement? Why does it look good? Why would anyone want a truck that looks like this? To me, it just looks like an overloaded truck with a broken rear suspension.
Maybe it has something to do with the annoying "style" where kids wear baggy pants that are falling down and showing their underwear/butt crack, and they're trying to make their trucks look the same?
I just don't get it, I guess I really am becoming an old fart. I can't think of any benefit (either styling or practicality) but can think of many reasons why it just seems like a plain bad idea.
Not here, this "hater" has a suspension that's bone stock - probably the best compromise for all around functionality (on road, severe weather, hauling, towing, comfort, and mild off-road - in that order of priority)

It didn't "come from here" it came from that useless piece of land known as California, all the kids that had mommy and daddy get them a truck got it from them.

My take on the squat is to each his own. I'm not personally a fan of it but what you do to your truck has no bearing on me at all. Not really a fan of leveling either. I dont mind lowered on all four corners or lifted on all four corners though.
