Hood issue after installing Intake?

Hood issue after installing Intake?
Any 2.7 or 3.5 guys here that run the S&B Intake set up?
Installed mine over the weekend and this morning i finally had the chance to drive the truck, and realized i am having a hard time closing my hood as if the latch isnt latching.
Obviously the 1st thought is the darn air box is too big and is pressed up against the hoods insulation causing it hard to close shut.
Or unless my 17xx mile truck has a faulty hood latch? Which i dont think because i did finally get it to close after pushing on the hood with a good amount of force.
PS: I did see a imprint of the screws for the clear lid on my hoods insulation after the few tries to get it to close.
