WOW! Contests using social media are not out of the norm today. In fact, I'd say they're downright common.
I have an Instagram account to keep track of what my niece and nephew are up to back in Ohio, but have never posted a pic, and don't know anyone with a truck who's on it either, so I am (well, was, because I just saw this thread) excluded, too. On the other hand, I don't see a reason to lambaste these guys for running their contest their way, and using it as a method to increase their exposure. If someone doesn't don't like the way it works, they can simply not enter into the running.
