I love how fast forum's can degrade. How ever I speculate your fact is still an opinion, and I still intend to move ahead with project "corn bucket".TM.
I'll be buying most of the parts tommorow and fabing it up next weekend. I'll post some pics and such for any one else who might want to try it.

Every v6 with an aftermarket exhaust I ever heard sounded like someone farting in a bucket. Just saying.

Formula 1 cars sound great and they use IIRC 1L V-6's. Besides, not trying to be a dick, I was asking if any one knew about the flange. Not what everyone else's opinions are. I'm not afraid to let people know that I picked the 6 over the 8. Especially when I blow the doors off the "In my day"/"my daddy said" V8 owners.
My opinion by the way, since we were all sharing and stuff.
Any one know what type of flange it is?

Ok, ok, I surrender. I'm just gonna leave her alone. Personally, as a gear head, I don't find V-6 exhaust offensive. How ever I have come to the conclusion that...
1. I'm no longer a child and require a pickup as a function of life.
2. I bought the truck that I did because economy, safety, performance and reliability.
3. I need my truck, truly need my truck to be a truck.
With that said an exhaust could be fun. But in doing so would not benefit the truck in her daily truckly duties. I need her to be a truck, not another hot rod to dump money into.

No thank you Im currently building a manx buggy. Besides I can't take a mustang off road.
I have to admit I love the Ecoboost. I regularly get 29.8 MPG highway with cruze control on 60 and flat ground. I clocked 31 MPG at 80mph but I had a hell of a back wind. I even got 50 MPG, ONCE... Free rolling down a mountain, but still.
