To all the powers that be on this forum....... is it possible or wise to setup a forum for those of us that have questions or plans on a particular trip? My wife and I are planning a trip to Reno this May and would like to ask for advice on all aspects of the trip.

Or, what forum would you suggest I begin the topic?

I'd suggest "Off Topic" or maybe the "regional" sections down in the community forum. Just know that some of the regional sections are pretty slow at times.
