Default Help. Nitto Ridge Grapplers 305/55/20 116Q SL vs 125Q F2

Hi guys,

New to truck and truck tires. I understand how they work.

But this tire have two options.

One is 116Q and it looks like same load rating tire that I have currently on my OEM Sport Wheels (2019 F150 Sport)
The other is 125Q and it looks like its F load rated.

Questions is what should I run on my truck? I have 2019 F150 2.7EB 4x4 Screw 302A . Not planing to tow anything. Maybe something light at some point.

Are F Load tires ride like Rocks vs 116Q ? Any real world experience?

F load tires are pretty much 1 step softer than stone.

I'd go with the SL if you aren't planning on loading them down.

F load tires would be for 1 ton trucks. Absolutely no need on a F150. IMO Load E is overkill.

I’m pretty sure these tires were F rated too

Right on! Ordered set of 305-55-20 Ridge Grapplers in 116Q SL.

Now I just wish the wheels arrive in the next several weeks. Waiting is painful when there is a nationwide backorder on 20x9 +1 Fuel Rebel D680

I recently purchased some Ridge Grapplers, was specifically avoiding LT tires (which does limit your options to some extent). I'm very happy with my decision to not get an LT tire (ended up with 275/60 R20 XL rated). They look great and have a great ride that's close to stock and don't kill performance/mpg. If you're like me, you'll be happy.

Funny enough, I just posted about this. Based on my research 116Q exceeds the limits of the truck so F rating would really be overkill. How are you liking the tires?

Seattle Dude, Can you post photos! I'm in the same boat! Wondering how they look compared to my buddy's 33/12.50/20. Thanks!

Hey guys, hope I'm not reviving something too dead.

I am planning on going with these tires for my truck but in 285/70-17. I am going to do some light/mild off-roading since living out here in the desert. Would the 116Q SL load rating be good or should I go for the 121Q E1 rating? Thanks!
