Default Help with 7.3 idi

Hi guys after selling my lifted flare side I've been trying to find myself a new pickup and I think I may have come across something..

It's a 92' F250 Black Manual 5 Speed, 37's, 6 inch lift with a non turbo 7.3 idi motor.
I'm looking to turn turbo, anyone have any input ?

Good/Bad with these trucks ?

Kits or systems to put some more "Pep" in my "Step" ?

thanks

I had a buddy who had a 7.3 idi in a 92 that I drove around a few times. Have a buddy who's 96 Powerstroke is sitting in my backyard, they have what seems like the same amount of torque and power. Frankly, they knew how to build the older Ford diesels to where they performed fairly well (not too much under the Powerstrokes) without a turbo. A turbo would give you some nice power and some even better torque numbers.

Turbo kits can be expensive. I'd check out Gillette diesel and see what performance parts they have for the engines.
