Headache Rack
You'd still run power to the light through the headache rack, but with one of the wireless models you don't have to wire 4 more wires back into a controller in the cab. You just get a wireless controller that you stick on you dash or where ever you would want it. You can also get a wireless keychain controller too if you may want to control the light outside of the vehicle. The wired controllers don't go too well with post 96 dashes. My buddy has one on his 96 F250 and it is about a 2.5x4 thing that really only fits in the storage hole where the factory installed brake controllers would be.
we figured out a place to put them by the fuse box and i still have the switch and we had 4 lights wired to one switch. those 4 were joined at the headach rack and then terre were 2 to the other switch so we only had power runing back to the switch in 2 places and everything was hidin
