I have the Hikari Ultras that use Philips Lumiled chips. They are terrific and the chip set is meant to mimic the filament placement of the stock halogen bulb, so the light pattern is great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077BT6M6Z/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For reference, I have Sealight fog lamps and they are only $25 on Amazon - also great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DYQ665J/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The fog lamps are the two bulbs on the left, head lamps on the right.

With the SL1s it can.

I have only had them for about a month so can't comment on durability yet. I found a site called bulbfacts.com where they evaluate LED kits on Amazon. There is a chart that details brightness, beam pattern, etc. The site was very helpful.
As it relates to the dust cover, I think the factory one would fit back on but there would not be much clearance for the fan, so I bought a larger one (it's a 83mm cap):
The larger cap went on no issue and gives plenty of clearance for air flow.
For my brights, I went with Sealights again ( ) and they are a fanless design so I did not need a new dust cap.

+1 for bulbfacts.com
I currently have an led setup but feel that my view of the road is bad. Although the color of an led setup looks nice there isn't enough distance in the beam. I checked Bulbfacts and ordered some Osram Night Breaker Unlimited.

I ended up sending my Hikari's back over the weekend. One was starting to flicker. I bought 4 different bulbs to try and will post what I find.

Try out Oedro LED headlights.
These headlight last over 50,000 hours compared to Halogens which last normally 450 - 1,000 hours.
You can watch the installation & review video on a Ford first.

I am not done with my testing and decision, but here is what I have so far (I'll post pics later)...
One thing I'd mention before you buy any LED headlight conversion; it's a good idea to buy a larger dust cover so them babies can breathe. I purchased this 83mm cover and they fit perfect:

The following bulbs have been tested in my 2018:
- Hikari Ultra (): I used these for a couple weeks. Beam pattern was good, not great. They started to flicker as well. Given the cost, I was less than impressed. Also, these are supposed to use Philips Lumileds which are apparently great LED chips. I sent back to Amazon.
- STK 9S (): These also use Philips Lumiled LED chips - these, however, didn't fit in the housing. Where the factory harness plugs in is at an awkward angle. I even tried adjusting them and no luck. Sent back.
- Auxito ( - link is to the wrong bulb size. As of this post, H11 isn't on Amazon.): These were very bright but the light pattern was concerning. I almost tried them for a few days but opted not to given the cutoff. As a side note, the reason I tried these is because I bought them for my wife's 2012 Edge (which has projector housings) and they are terrific so I thought I'd give them a shot in the truck. Sent back...
- Sealight S1 (): These have the lowest lume of the all and the light pattern was awful. I tried these because I have the 9005's as my high beams (they are terrific) and the 9140's ( ) as my fogs. Both are terrific in their respective applications.
- Katana (): These are currently in my truck. These are far and away the best out of the bunch. The cutoff is excellent, distance excellent and overall beam pattern is excellent. My only gripe is that the "ballast" is quite large and it's hard to fit all of the wiring in the factory housing. I don't foresee an issue, it just seems odd it's so much larger than the others. Nevertheless, hands down the best lights I've tested. These also match my Sealight highs and fogs damn near perfect.
