HD Radio not working

Default HD Radio not working
Just picked up a gently used 2013 f150 platinum with Sony system. When in the radio section of sync there is no HD Radio toggle and none of the stations come in HD, show a HD logo or multi cast. Local ford dealer said HD Radio just works when in range but clearly it's not working or showing the on off switch. I've updated to 3.8 via ford, pulled battery, fuses and master reset. Has anyone seen this before? Any solution and input would be great.

HD is not available in all areas.

Guess I should have added I live in Nashville TN and every station has HD 1 and 2 stations. My previous car and wife's car all pick up HD without problems or drops.

I've looked through every 13 brochure I can find and it shows the Sony system on the platinum included the HD Radio standard. My friends 13 fx4 has the same Sony system and his has a HD toggle on the main Radio section of sync.

Check your antenna? Scratch that, Hmmmm.... I see that you have no power toggle.
Got to be software related.

Did you ever get this figured out? I have the same issue.

Hi Timsmish,

HD radio is not a standard build on all radios. Send the VIN in a PM; I'll check to see if it's listed as an option on your vehicle.
