Has anyone’s cruise control gone wacko?
i set my cruise and it started speeding up on its own. I almost took out a bunch of mailboxes and flew off a 30ft cliff. Is this normal?

Yep, that's exactly what it's supposed to do.

Did you set the speed, or hit "resume" which would set it to your previously set speed?
For example, if you were on the freeway and set it at 70, then got off the highway onto a secondary road, if you hit the "resume" button, it will try to get back to 70 whereas if you hit the + or -, it will set it roughly at your present speed.
