Has Anyone ReGeared a Newer 2012,2013,2014 F150??
Hey everyone, I know this question has been talked about and bought up before but I haven't heard of alot people regearing their newer f150's.. but I have a 2013 F150 5.0v8 4x4 with the 6speed tranny with the rear axle a 9.75.. I have lifted it and put bigger tires on it which are now 35's but will soon go to 37's..my stock gears now are 3.55's..and wanted to know what people are gearing to now to get the mpg's back and also power loss..I have talked to gearing vendors..4wheel parts.com,east coast gearing.. and some of these vendors are saying ford changed some angles in the newer 9.75 rear axle that i have and they only are offering the stock Ford 4.10's..I was wondering has anyone else regeared yet? and what gears have everyone went with due to the newer 9.75 and also since the truck is a 6speed??..i was thinking 4.65s but unsure of the RPM's i would be turning at higher speeds with the 6speed??..

I'd rather be sailing.
If you can get the gear ratio's or at least the final gear ratio here is a link to an RPM calculator, simply plug in the values and off you go!

You must be forewarned though, this site does indeed mention Chevy. Don't want anyone to have a fit if they go there, remember, you DO have the option to not go there! LOL!
However it will work for ALL cars if you have the numbers!
I used it when building a drivetrain in a classic car. Worked perfectly for me!
