Hey guys My 1992 ford f150 i have has some bad stering problem i change the gear box it has new ball joint new draglink new tires new calipers and disc pads roter been turned and new wheel bearings new back breaks with new wheel clylneders. ok it has about 3 inches of play in the stering but the wheels bearing keep getting dry of grese i repacke them twice so far. and tighen them down the way suposed to. well drives good for about a week then it starts getting where ya have to comensate for the slack when ya turn the stering over corect.so i got to go back and check the wheel bearing again!!!! i bought the cheeper bearing from NAPA insted of the pollymer cage bearing these are all steel beraring would that be my problem? and when ya have to get on the brake a little hard it will shake the stering wheel out of you hand and dash and everything else. done put too much money into this truck , not to menton it has no power on a hill 4.9L 300. i know it's something simple over looked.work on the bearing problem might stright out the rest. I am old school on fords 82 so on. but love them. any sugeston??? Thanks guys
