Default Has anyone added LED lightbars to their grill?

I know you can buy custom ones with them already built in, but has anyone actually hacked up their OEM grille and added them? I did a search but didn't find anything. I'm thinking about cutting out the upper and lower cross-section parts of the grille and mounting some curved lightbars in there if possible. Also, if anyone has an 18+ grille like mine lying around that is in rough shape, has broken tabs, etc that they want to get rid of free or cheap... let me know. Would be nice to mock it up before I actually destroy my current one.

No hacking on grill.I bought the rough country slim line and it came with all the brackets to mount it on the existing tabs on the grill.

I like that! However I'm wanting more light and I really hate the look of the upper and lower cross-sections so my secondary goal is to eliminate that.

Well you will have to get very creative to mount a large light bars as there is not much to attach them and still have the shutters in place.

Yea that's what I figured. Although I originally planned on replacing it with an STX grille anyway and these OEM ones are more trouble than they're worth when attempting to resell so I won't be too upset if I crash and burn.
