Default Ham Radio antenna on the front

Hi

I hope you guys can advise me to antenna cable from the engine compartment (driver side) to the cabin.

The antenna sits upfront next to the hood on the driver side and I do not see an entrance. before I start drilling a hole in the firewall I like to listen to your suggestions.

Many Thanks

Fuif

You do have to have a Amature radio license to use a ham radio.

Yep, a year would be nice. My 2010 has a HUGE grommet on the drivers side. More than enough room for my 2 coax, 2 power, and a few other things. Just use a coat hanger to punch through.

try going up the side of the fender and take it out the back side of the fender in the door and across the dash or in under the steering wheel where the fuses are... just put run along the edge of the fender and put between fender and cab when taking it inside.

Hi Guys

Looked and looked and could not find an entrance so I drilled a hole. It wasn't very painful at all, plenty of room and its only a small hole so no sweat. Plugged it up with some putty and there she goes.
Now I am looking for 12 volt, its a pretty intense rig 75 watts max so 75/12 gives me max 6.25 amps. I looking at the specs to see if the cigarette lighter outlet can handle it but its hard to get behind it. Any tips are welcome.
