I would camp out at a gas station or car wash.

We had the tiniest of hail the other day. Looked like it was raining kidney stones lol. I almost went and laid across the hood

now you have estimate in assuming fixing is next? Love to see before and after damage pics!

OUCH! Is this a "PDR" guy that others have mentioned? I don't know what that is or what it means, but I hope to learn from your bad experience. I think us aluminum owners all have a dread of this pummeling. Let us know how it goes. Sorry you got slammed.

PDR = paintless dent removal

i don't believe it's only for aluminum. Basically they just suck the dent back out. Only works on some dents I believe? Again not entirely familiar.

Little more involved than just "sucking a dent out" I watched them do it after a hail storm we had at the dealer I worked for, they had a bunch of specially shaped steel rods a few feet long some of them so they could work the metal back to it's original shape, steel has memory after it's been stamped, not so much with aluminum, I also watched them use a heat gun and plain old ice cubes to pop dents out, amazing skills those guys have. Takes years of practice to perfect and well worth the expense considering the alternative.

Down here they get about $100/dent.

yea that was my term for "I don't know anything about it". I knew it was more involved, but premise is the same dent disappears at end of process
