I feel your pain, had the same thing happen to my truck with the paper temp tag still in the back window, 2 weeks old $2,200+ damage. Body shop fixed her up like new.

Then I built a carport to park under, insurance or not, I never want to have that gut wrenching feeling again.

We just moved so the garage is still full of boxes. At least I made room in there for my wife's new Expedition.

I need to get the other 2 spots in my garage cleaned out so the truck and the Explorer can go in with the Mustang. We just had some storms go about 5 miles south of us that got my sister-in-laws house pretty good.

Call General Motors, I'm sure they will gladly compensate you and come and make another biased commercial to put on TV. Then take it and get it fixed. All kidding aside, a real bummer for this to happen to any vehicle, let alone a brand new one.

That really sucks. Been there, done that.

Will be interesting to see the bill to fix the entire body on an aluminum truck. Hopefully your insurance will treat you right.

Man, hail damage is the worst. Had one last year. Luckily, both our cars were out of the area, but needed a new roof, new garage doors, and a couple new windows on the house.
