Give me a 4wd in the winter and my Motorcycle in the Summer. I'm a happy man. But i do agree Gas Prices Suck in the worst of ways. (well time to go drive the explorer to school.....stupid really cool V8 lol

id say its just common knowledge... keep rpms down and speeds decent and you'll save...

lol yea, gas prices are killing me here too,
granted i do not pay for all my gas (i drive to high school and stuff so my mom helps since i drive my little brother places) but still 3.45+ for reg??(Bay area, Cali)
i have been thinking bout getting a motorcycle... but just starting college this next semester i wont have a ton of money boo!!

Gas will not get to 4 bucks a gallon anytime soon. the price will moderate later in the year. The thing with octane is if your engine does not knock or ping on the "cheap"(
!) stuff go ahead and use it. Modern engines with knock detectors this sort of thing is a moot point anyway. remember with a naturally asperated engine your altitude makes a big different on your actual compression. I know one thing I am going to upgrade my spark plugs Those Brisk Halo plugs look real interesting, however I think the Bosche plus 4 might be as good and much easier to get, not to mention a little cheaper.

I'm keeping my truck. I've got other cars to drive if gas gets out of hand. If the price of gas really gets out of hand I'll just get another car for running around. Then if I need a truck then I have one.
