Debadge my new ford!! HELP!
I was going to debadge my new 2013 f150 when I remembered the older style badges had pins on them leaving a hole in the fender, is that true? Same with the one on the tailgate I assume, I took off the flex fuel and it was fine and the XTR decal.

The only way to cover the holes would be with different emblems, decals or go to the extreme and have a body shop fill the holes (weld), do the body work and repaint
As a side note I have removed emblems for guys, color matched them to their vehicle (painted them) and put them back on. Gives it a nice custom touch and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb if you don't care for the "chrome" emblem look

I haven't done mine yet, but from what I've seen, squishy vinyl badges just peel right off = no pins.
Thankfully the dealer tag on mine is this way, so it should be easy to remove.
