Why do you need a rebuttal?

To each his own. Live and let live.

So you are at the bar and some guy punches you in the face. Are you going to stand there and cry or are you going to offer a rebuttal. Personally I prefer to offer a rebuttal but if you prefer being insulted or smacked around then more power to you. Live and let live.

I'd say there's a bit of a difference between physical assault and someone making a crack about your vehicle.

True. Ignoring a comment like that and completely dismissing it is often the best rebuttal.

It's kill them with kindness.

Nothing pisses off a jerk more than being ignored and big smile.

Oh... and it's "if it's not one thing it's your mother".

That's another great point,

You could always say "I picked up an F150 because the rear seat is big enough for your mom to get on her knees"

My ex brother-in-law (Chevy nut) would always say "Yeah well F-150s have been found in Russian junk yards." I eventually shut him up by saying "Well it's the #1 selling pickup truck in the world, there's bound to be one or two of them in there."
