I’m just honest about it. The new Titan was out of my price range and a tad ugly, so I took a gamble on a slightly used “American” truck. Hopefully it lasts as long as my old Frontier did, and longer than the 3 Rangers I had prior to that.

Well the way I handled it with my "GM is the greatest" son in-law was give them my old B3000 when I bought the F-150. Not that he isn't still a GM fan but now that he drives a Ford product he has been silent in regards to why drive a Ford.

I can't stand the square wheel wells, The whole putting a round peg in a square whole thing...

There are a lot of things you can pass in a dodge, but a gas station ain't one...

I'm not a diehard "ford guy" by any stretch, but my old '04 5 speed manual B3000 (technically a Mazda but all parts stamped FMC) was probably the best vehicle I've ever owned. I'd still be driving it today if not for the need for more space

The only real difference between the Mazda and Ranger were the trim levels and grill design. I even went so far as to buy the Ranger version of parts as they were usually less expensive than the Mazda cross referenced version. This was for both factory and after market parts. We needed to replace our tow vehicle which was a 2001 Explorer. When I got the F-150 I didn't need two pickup trucks so gave it to them. They were having electric steering issues with their Cobalt so I knew they could use a replacement. Since he works at a family owned Feed and General store the truck is more useful as well since he can make small deliveries with it.

Just bought my F150 2 weeks ago. Everyone loves to bad mouth Ford. What are some good rebuttals when taking all the ragging?
Ask them whose truck, bone stock, is tough enough to finish the Baja 1000?
The F150 Raptor is.

Then you can tell these clowns that soon they'll see how every other truck maker will be following the leader. They're looking into their own aluminum body stamping tooling, bonding and body shop repair technology, just as Ford has pioneered. They're all playing catch up.

Was running to an online forum for reinforcements or satisfaction so necessary?

Getting into a pissing match with people over truck brands just makes you look like them. Another narrow minded and immature schmuck. Avoid the headache.

Can't lie i miss the Titan. But love the look and features of the Ford for less money. Ford as much power and when i look down 20mpg instead of 14 "winning". Now the ride of the titan is hard to beat for me.

Tell them to grow up. If they want a say in what you drive, they can buy you what they want.
