I'd suggest Sct but I may be slightly biased. :-)

Yes, it doesn't change anything with the ca emissons so would pass inspection with flying colors assuming the rest of the vehicle is stock.

I have a cold air intake and cat back magna flow but that is all CA legal. Will the SCT allowe to change the tire size and improve throttle response so you can get a wide open throttle at lower rpms? What do they cost?

Thank you very much for your imput!!!!!

I have a Superchips Cortex programmer for my 2011 F150 Five Liter V8. It seems to do pretty well. I almost bought an SCT from Mike at 5star tuning but at the last minute bought the Superchips programmer. So far I have no complaints. Price was a factor that made me finally choose the Superchips Cortex.

I've had superchip, bulldog and edge. By far edge has out performed all of them. Bully dog had the roughest shift ever. Superchip I didn't feel any difference.

I've been really happy with my edge. It has smoother shift and the throttle response is soo much better.big improvement

5.0l v8 btw

Have Edge Evo and definitely woke my '07 up. Generally running on the "towing" setting and really gets it!
