Default Is this a good price on exhaust?

So the local exhaust shop wants to charge $180 for a 2.5 inch true dual setup exiting before the rear tires. Is that a decent price?

Most shops charge $70-75 per hour labor plus materials. I'm sure they are using aluminized steel, and does this include tips and if so are they chrome or stainless? Does that include any mufflers or packs? If so sounds decent.

Try it and if you don't like it you can add mufflers.I have clip of mine in this same section general discussions, listed under New Exhaust 2010 tell me what you think. I have a 2010 4.6 v8 with a flow master 40 series original 3" single in 2.5" dual out. One clip is outside the back and the other is inside of the truck. My exhaust exits behind the wheels, I also installed mudguards to help protect the rear panels as well as the tips.

I know I'm a new member here, but I have messed with cars and exhaust for years. $180 seems FAIR. You could definatley find it cheaper, but if you know this shop, and trust their quality of work, then Under $200 for dual exhaust is good.

PS you will always run into the "one-uppers" after you get it done that say "Awwwww, you should have told me, I could have got it for you for 50 bucks!" or "YOU PAID HOW MUCH?! I only paid $100 mufflers included."

Cheers

Agreed.

Quality work will save you more in the long run than getting a low-ball price.

Alright guys, thanks. I trust this shop because my friend got his exhaust done there and it looks great. He was pleased too. Any more opinions are appreciated.
