Default Generations: my 2001 and 2019

Took some pics while I still have both trucks. Have had my 2001 for 15 years. Has been a great truck and I will be sad to see it go. I am loving this new 2019 though.

2001 5.4l 4x4 supercrew 5.5 bed
2019 3.0l diesel 4x4 supercrew 6.5 bed

Nice upgrade, congrats! Its hard to say goodbye to a trusty old truck though, I did the same recently when sold my 05.

I drove my '01 authority F-150 truck for eight years. It was a great truck! Fond memories.

I do enjoy my '16 very much though!

Congrats!

I love seeing pictures with the old and new trucks. Great pictures in a great setting. I need to step up my background for pictures game.

Is the new truck a full size cab and bed? Would love to see more, those are rare.

+1 on where you are located. Those mountains look great!

Cool, both trucks and those background mountains.
What an over the year's contrast!
The new truck is wider, longer, higher and a little more aggressive looking..

If the '01 still runs good and from the pic the body looks to be in good condition, why not keep it as a backup vehicle or a mod hobby truck.
They don't make '01's any more.

If you don't need the money I'd keep that '01. Its in great shape and hell it might still be running in 15 years. Those trucks are hard to kill

The background is Mt. Si. I live in the Snoqualmie Valley in WA. Best place to live I think if you need to work in the Seattle area. Still has a small town feel and community.

It is a crew cab "long" 6.5 bed diesel. Was the only combo I wanted and was not very common as I have looked. Finally found one with year end pricing so decided it was time to make the move. Will take more pics I definitely think these years/body styles are beautiful trucks.

I do think the 01 will easily live another 10 years. I had to travel for work for a few years so it's only got 165,000 miles. I haven't sold it yet. I always thought that truck would look good with fiberglass fenders and bigger tires. Like a grandpa raptor.
