Default Just wondering.

I got my wifes jeep back the other day after having a head gasket replaced. It runs fine now but there is a bad oil leak coming from the valve cover gasket. You can accutaly see it drip when she parks it. I want to take it back to him to fix it. I tried to tighten the valve cover bolts and some weren't even tight and it didn't fix it maby made it worse. I don't think I should be charged for his error. My question is should I expect to be charged for this?

The mechanic had to remove the valve cover to replace the head gasket.
There shouldn't be any question, the mechanic needs to fix the oil leak coming from the valve cover without additional charges.

laggare nailed it, you allready paid him for the valve cover gasket as part of the job, give him another chance to get it done right.
