So i was looking around and found a supercharger that came off a 2008 f150 5.4l harley davidson w/ 34k miles and the guy say that it will fit a 2010 FX4, has anyone done this to their truck, and if i do decide to do this, will it just be a bolt on or will this be a money pit to install and tune an such.

you'll have to get a new programmer or tune.. SCT can take care of that easily, just find a vendor on here that sells them

Your 2010 has a different motor though doesn't it I didn't think they made 5.4s in 2010

As far as I know my motor is a 5.4l.

Ford has made 5.4's since 1997. They switched from 2 valve to 3 valve in the trucks in 2003.5 and that's as much as I know.

My 2010 is a 5.4. Motors changed in 2011.

I guess it really depends on what all will come with the "system". Are you getting just the supercharger or are you getting the injectors, intake, throttle body, belt, intercooler piping, etc? Dont forget all the gaskets and other things you will have to buy....
