Been a while since I've been on this forum. I just got my new (well used) 2018 F150 King Ranch FX4. Previously, I had a 2011 King Ranch 4x4 and did a few mods to it (level, 35x12.50 trail graps, zoomi exhaust, and other cosmetic upgrades). I didn't do many mods to the engine as it had a lot of miles on it when I bought it, 162K. My new truck has 55K so I'm going to be doing a lot more to it; GT350 intake manifold, Airaid MXP CAI, Bully Dog BDX tune, Dynatech long tube headers, and a very unique exhaust setup. I'll probably make another post for the exhaust itself. Anyways, I'm new to the FX4 package and don't know much about it. The first thing I'm going to do is put on 35x12.50r20 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I'm attaching a picture so you can see how the truck currently sits. To me, it looks as if the truck is already leveled. I don't know if this is unique to the FX4 package or if this was something the previous owner had done. Anyone know if the FX4 comes pre-leveled or not? Also, what concerns should I have about rubbing? I threw a 2.5in level on my 2011 F150 and the 35's only encountered bad rubbing when I was turning hard in reverse (throwing a picture on here of that as well). Any help on this would be great!
The Mooseman is right, looks like a level is installed, at least a 2". maybe 2.5". OP, take a measurement from center of wheel, to top of the wheel arch.
You'll probably want an actual lift kit to fit 35x12.5 trail grapplers, that's a bit much for a level. Will you keep running the stock wheels? It definitely looks like it's already leveled.
Just got the tires ordered, will see how they fit. If there's too much rubbing, I'll take them off and look into best options as far as a lift kit goes

That pic makes it look like it has a leveling kit on it...will be easy to tell if you snap a pic of the front shock assy.
I will say, out of the 3 13 Gen F150's ive owned, the FX4 only had about 2 inches of rake where the other 2 had a little over 3.
That's what I thought, I couldn't really find anything saying they were pre-leveled. However, this is what it says on the Ford site about the FX4 package, "improved suspension, skid plates, stronger Ranchero shocks, a higher ground clearance, and a limited slip rear end." That higher ground clearance is probably that 1 inch difference you've noticed between those that have it and those that don't?

Excellent paint colors BTW.
Yes, will still be running stock wheels. Big reason I bought this truck was for those exact rims, they look great with bigger tires on them. And thank you, the two tone combo with the Caribou is a must for me now!

I'm pretty sure those tires won't fit without significantly modifying things, or getting a lift. I wish they would, but I don't even think 295/65/20 would fit which is a 35.1x11.6 (I'd get that size if it would)
Stock wheels will help quite a bit though, virtually all aftermarket wheels have a different offset that puts the tires farther out and makes rubbing more likely. Stock are +44 offset.
You may be presented with the option of slicing and dicing the truck or spreading/removing the crash bars to get the tires to fit, if so, you need to be able to make an informed decision on the crash bars, so I suggest reading through this thread before going to get the tires fitted. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/holy-...batman-483792/
I'm talking to a local shop that works with rough country lifts, they have done many. I was asking them about 35" tires and he said you will a 6 in lift so there isnt any rubbing etc. I plan on the RC 6" lift, and 1-2 inches of "poke" on the tires with this setup.
Cost is 1300 for the install, part costs are whatever they are, rRC 6" lift is around 1300 I think
