Question Fuel Rail Bolt Size on 07 v8 4.6L

Hey guys, Ive been searching every where on the internet for the size of the bolt on a 2007 f150 4.6L v8. I replaced the spark plugs and 2 of the coil packs but when putting the fuel rail back on the fuel rail bolt won't bolt all the way down. It gets close about a 1/4in away but won't go any further. I tried one of the other bolts to test and it does the same. I must have stripped the bolt hole. I am wondering what size the bolt is and thread and so I can purchase a slightly shorter bolt and use it instead. If anyone has any better ideas i'm open to them.

Thanks,
Elliot

Not much help on the bolt size. But I'm just curious why you touched the fuel rail. From what I remember I have never done that while changing spark plugs

Default Bolt size

Did you ever find out the bolt size, I was changing my fuel rail pressure sensor and one of the bolts snapped when taking out.. I don't think it would be safe just using the one as it could cause fire if gas happened to leak out on hot engine...

Just take one of the bolts with you to a hardware store and match it up.
