Default fuel maverick tpms

getting my new fuel maverick wheels installed Monday. Got the lug nuts but not new tpms. I have a 2018 xlt and from what I read the factory ones can be moved over? Garage said they can sometimes snap when removing though. So If I get a new set, is there a certain size for the fuel wheel or anything else I should know before ordering if I do? thanks for any info

Just get what your truck calls for, size is standard across the industry.

Yes your OE sensors will transfer over. I've always transferred mine over, and I've done it easily a dozen times. Haven't lost one, and have never been 'warned' that they could break
Anything is possible, but you'd have to subject your year-old truck to years of weather, salt, grime etc.. for it to be a problem IMO
If your 'garage' is threatening to destroy yours, might wanna find another installer.
Just sounds to me like they're trying to sell you 4 sensors

Discount Tire changed them over on 2 of my Mustang wheels and I did the other 2 before I took the wheels in. Truthfully if they are trying to use the same valve stem I would go elsewhere, the TPMS Sensor is held in by 1 screw that even comes on the new stem.

so i would get the valve with the screw to mount to the original sensor? im assuming he meant snap the valve when removing, not the tpms.
