Fuel Economy Gauge
First off, hello fellow F-150 owners. I have a 2015 F-150 Lariat FX 4 which I truly like. Only problem so far is my fuel economy gauge has gone beserk this week. It's reading 4-9 mpg in the city and sometimes reads 10 mpg or just doesn't move. Truck has 37K miles on it so my question is, has anyone else had such a problem? If so, what was the fix. Thanks in advance.

fuel economy
I didn't get a response to this which I guess means no one on here has had this problem. Turns out I had a few "bad" coils and fouled plugs which gave false MPG readings. Goes to Ford for fix in am.

It's the 3.5L ecoboost. Fuel economy gauge is working again (i know they're not 100%). One coil and one plug $400 bucks at Ford. The one coil and one plug is guaranteed by Ford for 2 yrs. LOL Thanks for asking.

Never had this happen with any of my past trucks but I also found the fuel mpg gauges to be 1-2 mpg off, usually indicate a higher reading this is also true for the wife's car and my motorcycle. Glad you got it resolved.
