Drive-In Movie problem with my 2015.
Went to the local Drive In theater in Wisconsin Dells, and tuned in the required FM frequency with my key on ACC. As usual with new vehicles, it turned itself off after 10-12 minutes. I then had to turn key to OFF, and cycle back to ACC to continue listening. My 2011 had this situation, and I found how to override this auto-off situation in the Owners Manual. Not so with the 2015. How do I keep the radio on unrestricted? Am I missing it? Any help out there?

Hmm on my 13 all I have to do is press the power button and the radio kicks back on.

2 weekends ago we loaded up the family and some neighbors into 3 Ford trucks.
Knowing ahead about the electrical system timer, we took 3 radios (1 for each bed). That's probably your easiest solution.

Even when the switch is in the ACC position my 2014 will shut down after about 30 minutes and give me a "low battery" warning. The battery isn't low, it just does it to prevent draining the battery. It also shuts off interior lights if a door is left open more than about 30 minutes.
I have no idea how to over ride it. I haven't really needed it yet.

Actually, when the low battery warning comes on and the radio is shut off, it is in fact low. The reality is that you don't have a radio, you have a lit screen that stays on the entire time, along with other features, which drains the battery. Sitting through a 2+ hour movie is not a great idea using your radio.
These vehicles have a lot of current draw, and driving them for short periods (like 1/2 hour) doesn't begin to charge things up. I didn't like the message on my 2013, so I bought a Battery Tender Plus for about $50, and no more message. I bought two more, special versions from Costco for even less for our cottage and our boat. It provides a float charge and keeps the battery fully charged.
As noted, you can simply turn off the vehicle, then hit the radio on button for many years. Some have a Forscan override. But the idea of bringing a portable radio is much smarter.

It's a concept where it's more expensive but less comfortable than a regular theater.
The draw is the cheap entrance fee. However, since you need to get there an hour early for the best parking spots....you end up buying an entire meal and snacks there for your family to kill the time, where you normally only need snacks at a regular theater.
Being outside, you lack heat & A/C. However, you are subject to insects, so add Off to the list of things to take.
It's still fun. We have taken our kids a couple of times just to do something different.
