To all the folks that say use something else, I fly for a living. An ipad is all I can bring along, so I am stuck using it a week at a time. The root mean cause is this website. Why can’t the admin fix it?

A free, powerful and straightforward native blocker for Safari I personally use on my iPhone! #GetStopAd at https://stopad.io?refID=5E578F9A-D279-4F2A-B30A-79C9865B980C

I use 1blocker and adblock fast. Download them from the app store, turn on the packages in 1blocker, turn on adblock fast, then go into settings-safari-content blockers and make sure they're activated. Have both of those on my iPad Pro and iPhone x and never get pop-ups.

If you’d see the other thread about this in the Off Topic area, you’d see we are communicating plenty.
We are blocking each spam URL as it
comes to our attention, we have increased the capacity of our spam filter, and we work on this same issue every year around this time.
We can’t permanently fix it because the website isn’t the problem, it’s Google AdServ. One of the hundreds of advertisers that are hosted within Google has a line of annoying code that gets embedded every year around the holidays. We’ve approached Google with it and they basically tell us to go pound sand. The easy thing to do for us would be to disable AdServ, but at the end of the day, this site- while a great resource and well loved community, is a business. Disabling it would substantially harm our abilities to pay for hosting, advertising, and maintenance. A huge forum like this isn’t cheap to run.
Heres the main thread where we keep these things consolidated so we can more easily track these ads.

Im closing this thread only because I want all complaints and screenshots to be kept to that thread for easy tracking and documentation.
