I added a remote start kit to my truck today. (plug and play kit on ebay) everything works fine and the remote start options are now on my info screen. I hooked up the computer and went into forscan to get rid of the double honk. went into bcm 726-41-02 and the changes were already made. Supposed to change XXX0 XXXX XXXX. My setting is already 0100 0001 0173 Any ideas anyone? my truck is a 17 XL STX Screw

Saw an old request on this but didn't see an answer. Have also looked thru Livnitup's tutorial and the settings spreadsheet without luck. Has anyone figured out a way to change the default setting for Drive Mode? Truck always goes back to Normal, others are Tow Haul, Snow/Wet, Eco, Sport.

Typically this is intentional by the manufactures because the ability to default to Sport would mean the EPA would measure the truck's MPG in that mode. Wife's Lexus is the same way.

How long does it take to get approved for forscan. I've had my truck apart since Wednesday swapping led lights just to be told I have to reprogram. So I bought the tablet and the obd link listed on this thread. Amazon delivered today. I've registered but apparently have to be approved. Can I expect to get approved on a Saturday evening? How long?

Has anyone disabled the Doo-Doo-Doo chime on a 2018 F-150 Platinum 4x4 3.5 EB? I tried the below and it disabled my drive mode capability...
Going back to the prior settings entailed a re-learn.
From the common tab:
Disables three "doo-doo-doo" start-up chimes from cluster IPC 720-01-02 xxxx x2xx
