I thought the compressor ran till it hit the height pressure switch turn off pressure and then started up again when it triggered the low pressure switch. Along with the evaporator temp switch shut off..
Which my tongue in cheek advise to remove refrigerant was to keep it from ever hitting the high pressure cutoff and the low temp evaporator switch.. As it wouldn't cool for **** so would never shut off the compressor.
I don't notice this with my auto temp truck..

Does anyone know how to get a hold of an administrator for the forscan forum? I applied a few days ago and have not yet received an activation email and the site will not let me contact them since my account has not been activated.

8" bezel issues
I am in the process of upgrading from a 4.2" to 8" screen with Sync 3 v2.2.
I am unable to get the controls on the bezel to function. Consequently, I have no HVAC control or Media control. I can control the media from the steering wheel, but I am unable to turn it on or off. The HVAC populates on the display, but no information or control is available. I used the as builts from the VIN that was associated with the bezel originally. I am reading through all of the threads, but have not yet found an answer. Any help would be appreciated.

If more in depth troubleshooting is required I'm sure any of us can lend you some as built examples which are close, but you will have to fine tune each parameter to match your truck.

Here is what the climate screen looks like.
I don't show an FCIM module, could that be part of the issue?
I performed a reset on the APIM, but no luck. Thanks for the assistance, I don't know how much fun it would be to ride around with no AC. I know it is something simple. I do this for a living (computer programming), I'm just new to forscan. (1st day)

I did the same mod as you...with the same results. You will also find the the MAX AC on the display will never light up even if it is in fact on. Not a deal breaker for me, as I use the hard buttons anyway....I just wanted something other than the Date in that quadrant.
Can you send me your settings for this? I am still unable to get my HVAC and media buttons to work.
