Ford's EPAS steering finally broke the camel's back!!

Its just weak argument to get rid of the Ford in my opinion. I hope you enjoy your new truck.

I don't want to sit on the tractor, when it's zero degrees and plow snow ... I've done that! The Jeep will probably be gone tomorrow.

I saw that snoway plow on a 2014 with a 5.0 a week or so ago, so I know it's being done. I was also told that the snoway does draw much less power, which makes it possible with EPAS, but the reason for the subframe with more airflow is for the Ecoboost's intercooler. Now if the plow is approved for the Ecoboost, and to my knowledge, all Ecoboosts are EPAS, (2011 and up), then what would that tell you???
Agreed, I wouldn't want to sit on an open tractor to plow, and it can be a little slow, but a Silverado? Nope

Why do you say that?
I agree. It ticks me off that the F150 has become more car than truck.

Trucks have been going downhill as far as durability goes. I've decided the F150 is marginally better than a car but with worse fuel economy and an open trunk. My 2011 with 46k miles is falling apart. Maybe mine is an exception but it's been a real peach.

Have fun replacing power steering pumps and chasing down leaks in lines whenever the reservoir runs dry. You took one step forward when you bought the ford and 2 steps back with the Chevy but that's your money. Want to plow snow? Buy a f250 and enjoy the extra power and mpg.
