Is this a joke or what.
At first glance an outrageous thread title with no facts, link or even the date of that so called newspaper rag.
Until the facts are presented, i'll consider this fake or exaggerated news.
Useless thread.

Agreed.
Here's hoping the F150 Forum Administration's Oval Office Staff sees this and punts this thread, hole-in-one, into the circular file.

Ricktwuhk has done legwork for all of us, many times over. He's an asset to/of this forum.
Doesn't change the fact that thread-starting posts should stand on their own merit, and that includes any necessary links to corroborate the thread's title.

well obviously, some people don't internet well or just want the attention but the issue in the title is real and a load of BS tossed on customers by Ford.

They all do this not just Ford. Honda had transmission issues, Toyota had oil sludge, GM ignition switches etc. They all coverup costly failures.
Like it or not the old saying it's business not personal applies.
Businesses exists to make money, lots of it. Acknowledging costly mistakes could cost tons of money. A cost benefit analysis will be done to determine if the cost of admitting the problem is less than litigation and the one that has the least amount of risk wins. They don't care about consumers or employees.
Folks have been convinced by the media that businesses are some type of savior to our economy. When business do well the people will do good so they deserve all types of tax breaks, protection from litigation and deregulation.
Wrong, they will pocket the tax breaks and close factories at the same time. They will use deregulation to their advantage and make cuts to safety to increase their profit margins. Can we say Boeing. Take our word for it FAA, it's safe no need to send inspectors and make us go through all this costly time consuming testing.
