2013LARIAT

So I recently noticed an issue with my 2013 Ford F-150 Lariat Ford Sync, when my truck is on and running and I hit the Google button on my iphone 5 my screen in my truck says that I'm calling myself, however my iphone does not ring and does not show this. This only happens when I'm on Google no other apps or usage. I called them at Ford and tried all kinds of resets and other things.

Does anyone else have this issue or any ideas how to fix?

I know this is a stupid question to ask however I'm looking for help.

Sounds Like the Bermuda Triangle!
Apple IOS + Microsoft Sync+ Google
Those three have had words for each other, none of them kind.
Maybe you are in the ..... Incompatibility Triangle.

Not really a helpful answer, but that is a wierd problem.

I have the same issue on my 2013. Haven't found a fix yet.

I read a while back there were issues with iPhones and voice texting and apple refused to have the software installe in their phone. It kinda sounds like the typical apple vs Microsoft compatibility issues.

Mine does this when I try and use Siri or any other voice command that I can only use on my 4s.

My dad has had all sort of issues with his iPhone 5 with his 2011 sync but my brothers new galaxy works perfect with it. That's why I think it's really some apple Microsoft issues as stupid as that sounds

Thanks for the insight, I hate Apple products for of all and should not have given up my Blackberry!

Anybody know of issues with a Blackberry and the Ford SYNC?

Dad used to have a blackberry ( not sure of exact model, but had the keyboard with actual buttons )and worked awesome with sync and black berry had the voice text programmed into the phone that works with sync. The only issue his work gave him a new iPhone 5 so he had to turn in the blackberry. I also had a windows phone for a while and that worked great as well, and it was awesome or college cause it had Microsoft offic on it so I could make power points, excel and word docs right on my phone. That phone got wet on a fishing trip and went to replace it and cheapest phone they had was an iPhone 4S for $50 so that's what I'm stuck with now.

Damn! I loved my Blackberry so it looks like I need to go trade this pos Apple products back in!!!!!!!!
