Ford Spark Plug Class Action Lawsuit
So I had my spark plugs replaced in 2015 at a Ford Dealer and they broke 6 out of the 8 plugs. I was charged an extra 335$ due to them breaking. About a week after I had that done I received a letter in the mail telling me about this lawsuit and instructions on how to plea my case for reimbursement. Fast forward to today I received my check and its $63.00................
It says I can appeal if I feel I did not receive the correct amount. Should I go through this process? Just wondering if I should just cut my loss or fight it?

Well known defect with the 5.4L, covered here ad infinitum.
This class action suit went like the all do, lawyers keep the bulk of the money, and the actual "class" gets a pittance.

I got a 4-pack of RedBull from the RedBull class action, so that was nice.

I'm a bit confused by this as well. Why on earth would they charge you an extra $335 because THEY broke 6 of 8 plugs? How is that logical, and why did you agree to pay it? I believe I would have camped out in the GM's office until either the owner showed up or they agreed to fix THEIR mistake at THEIR cost, not mine.

BUT, known issue or not they should not be charging additional for damage they did. If it was known before they did the job, they should adjust the price coming in. The mechanic is just like any other professional I hire and essentially you break it, you bought it. As a professional you took the job with the presumptive skills to do it right.
