Default Ford Rear Wheel Liner VS. Husky

G'day all - wondering what the difference is, if any between the Ford rear wheel liners and the ones offered by Husky?

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Cheers

I installed husky on my 2015 coverage is a little better than ford and can be found for less $ to me either one is a great upgrade. Note the husky liner's went on easy and I'm happy with them.

THX Bubbabud - would you by chance have had the opportunity to check them side by side in terms of material quality? Good to know sizing is different and that's almost enough to go with husky alone.

Cheers my good man!

I haven't compared them side by side however I believe the material, construction and install is basically the same. the husky liner seems to cover a little more of the frame [strictly visual] when I was shopping I looked at Ford first but the dealer wouldn't budge on price picked up the husky liner's on E bay saved about $50 shipped

The Husky units offer more coverage then the Ford OE units and yes there is a huge price difference. We sell alot of Husky wheel well liners to the forum members here and they all have had great success with them and no complaints on fit and finish. Just PM us and I can give you our special forum member pricing on them.

Thank You

My Rugged Ridge are one of those actually cover the frame. A lot of others still let you see all the way through! Go with them or Husky, whichever is cheaper.

Husky side by side on a Chevy. Also covers the frame.

Went with Penda 7010240X from StreetSideAuto, 55 bucks+shipping. Hard to beat for the money. Had to pull them off and reinstall when the truck was under coated, no problems.

This has to be one of the weirdest options of all time. Why was it offered? why was it not standard? It's like hood insulation.

Yes, I was shocked Ford did not finish building my truck.
My 1995 had RW well liners built on to the bed.

I used "Rugged" from amazon, fit OK, it was a struggle to get the lip of the liner over the turned in lip of the wheel. Once installed, they seem to work well.
