FMT Update
The update took about 2 hours and they changed out my A3 SD card to a A4 SD card.
Seems faster no lag between screens street name appears in the right
navigation section.
When making a call names stored in phone book are better understood
I also noticed right before the call rings the music starts playing but then stops as soon as the call goes through.
I wish though the music info would appear on the home screen lower right corner. The data is available just not being shown on the home screen

I wonder what took so long. I did the update in about 60 seconds once I copied it to the flash drive off the sync my ride site. It makes me wonder if there is a dealer only update. I will have to run by the dealer and see if there is a new map update when I go pick up my plates.
As far as the songs showing up in the lower right, I Agree!

The 2013 F150 Limited comes with about every possible option available.
With that said the update included the A4 SD card which includes the map data.
One thing I did not notice until yesterday, was the improvement of the navigation screen (maps) some of the icons have been moved to make it easier to use when driving.

I then proceeded to tell them, this is why FORD fell to # 21 out of 22 in the ranking, and that Consumer Reports gave FORD failing ratings primarily because of MFT/MLT.
2 days later I received a call from a regional person who let me explain my dissatisfaction, and his answer to that was "Ford just released a major update today, and I should make an appointment with my local or preferred dealer to install the update" I did and all worked.
I would suggest that you contact you dealer and talk to you service advisor, and ask to have the following installed:
697 14D212, Code 04 TSB 12-11-01 Updated the SYNC System and added new A4 NAV Card.
(note I am reading this off the serve ticket)
There was also a AUTH Code 00470
