Bring the diesel 2013 Explorer to the US, not just the UK. :-)

And PS, maybe F150 Diesel?

and im good with the 6.2 or a big diesel in an f150

and i stilll think the ranger should have a v8 option. kinda old school thinking im sure. but still would be fun.

and the SD with a cat trans sounds like a plan. an unstoppable fantastic plan.
We've got a Cat truck for our feed truck which has a C13 and the Cat auto tranny. That thing is a beast!

Haha sounds like a hell of deal! but sadly, the Cat engine is way to heavy to put into a light duty pick up.you'd need a pretty stiff front end. Wouldn't be worth it.

Check out last months issue of Diesel Power, they've got a whole article in it about Ford concept trucks that got the ax over the past 15years. There's stone pretty sweet ideas in there!

Oh, also check out the issue from two months ago. There's an article about half ton diesels. I can scan the articles and post them on here if anyone wants to read them

You'd probably have to put a solid axle under it.

Scan em or post links to the articles if they're online

DEAR LORD, THIS MAN IS A GENIUS!!!!!

seriously though, my first 2 thoughts were
1: a modern era version of the early bronco, Jeep wrangler size coil sprung with possibly even a solid axle up front. V6 and V8 power. and offer a 1/2 cab option.
2: diesel F150
a new 6.7 minus 25% would be a 5.0. how cool would it be to have a 5.0 diesel AND 5.0 gas F150 both of which will haul the mail.

Oh, due to the size of the scans, you may need to download the photos so you can zoom in and read them. The pictures are in reverse order, so the first picture is the last page of the article
