Default Ford Extended Warranty (yes or no)

I did a search, but I suk at it, did not find much.

I have had this truck about 2 months, put 1000 miles on it, it has 5500 miles total on it, (2013, no problems)

The bumper to bumper expires in 2 months.

6 yr/36,000 mile extended warranty (good for 3 more yrs) cost about $750 w/$100 deduct, covers most stuff.

What would you do? Buy it or not.

I have the money, but is it worth it? I can fix most stuff myself except engine/tranny. Mostly worried about the A/C system due to sitting up unused, but works great.

I feel if it does not break in the next 2000 miles/2 months, it probable won't.

Thank you sir, I will be calling tomorrow to find out. The website is kind of confusing. If someone knows this is true, please comment.

I would definitely get an extended warranty, things seem to start happening with these trucks soon after the factory warranty is up, even if they are just little things

Your buying insurance to cover a loss. I've had several new cars/trucks all went to 100 to 200K. Never had warr claim on any of them. I got extended warr on '99 F250 Ld duty never used it. I agree it can be a hard decision. I would be really ticked to have a problem and be told we can't find any thing wrong.

So if I had extended warr on each I would have spent $10k, I could get a lot repaired for that.

I bought the premium care extended warranty for my 2010 f150.I have 60,000 miles on my truck and so far I have had to replace both exhaust manifolds both front coil springs both driver and passenger heated seat elements. All this after the bumper to bumper warranty expired. Defiantly worth the money.

No, not possible, period. NO WAY, NEVER. (rethink)

a 7/75 is around 2,500 from FORD. (around 1100 perhaps online).

Go to www.zeiglerfordesp.com

and build you a warrany based off your desired coverage, and your desired deductible.

The Ford Premium ESP 84 months / 125,000 with a $100 deductible was $2300 with the sales tax for me at the dealership.
