I paid $1,400 for my ESP to 100k miles when I bought my truck new. I had to have the cam phaser TSB done at 80k miles. I also had a Sirius radio signal problem as well. They billed just over $2,000 for the work to the warranty.

Definitely worth it for me!
While they CLAIM to have billed the $2000, it actually cost much less to repair the truck. You could have taken it to an independent mechanic and had the same work done for far less than the $1400 you paid for the ESP.

Yep, Zeigler discount code is still valid! (should make zeigler cheaper)

That's exactly right! OEM charges a ton more work their work. Is the work any better?

For those that have purchased, did you get any of the options? First day rental, Lighting or Key Services?

Had it on our Lincoln MKT, it paid off big time over 8k in repairs covered, mostly electronics and the transmission. It also paid for all new wheel bearings, new PTU for awd system, and new rear drive shaft. Definately worth it for me as it only cost 1400, bought one for the SD too to cover things the powertrain warranty wouldn't and got my dealer to match Flood Fords price.

An independent mechanic will most likely use aftermarket parts which is why they can charge less. If he used all OEM parts it will probably cost him more since he has to pay the markup for the parts that the dealer doesn't. Not to mention that if there is some confusion the dealer has access to Ford engineering to help resolve issues.

Peace of mind is worth every penny. I don't sweat putting miles on the truck or worry about every little thing. If something breaks I'm good for 8 years or 100,000 miles.

I called ford direct today and was quoted 3000 for a 5yr 60000 mile warranty. How is it Zeigler can give me the same warranty for 1910? Is it really the same warranty. Lady at ford said if I have a problem the warranty is attached to the vin if a claim is needed. Is the zeigler warranty the same thing.

Yes Zeigler is EXACTLY the same, dealers make a fortune on markup. I bought my ESP thru Flood Ford but the same thing applies. When I went to buy my truck I had already researched to determine best price and took my quote to the dealer I bought my truck from and they almost laughed in my face when I asked for a price match.

I smiled, signed a check for the purchase price of the truck and drove away with a new truck and a genuine Ford ESP.

P.S. I paid $1,100 for a 7yr/75000 mile premium care Ford ESP.
