Default Ford or Chevy Most Popular?

I ride my bicycle 7 miles most mornings for exercise. I have been noticing there are a fair amount of F-150's on my route in driveways. So, today I counted trucks. In the first two miles I counted 19 F-150 trucks (including mine).. Two were mid 90's vintage and the rest were no older than 08.

In the same two miles I counted 6 Chevys, all were older models except one was fairly new.

I guess I dont have to move out of the neighborhood. LOL

Numbers can be very deceiving depending how they are presented and who presents them. That said, I only had Ford trucks never a Chevy or Gmc. Yes Ford is the best single selling truck by Ford's numbers. Many of years if you added General Motors Chevy AND GMC truck sales together. They would out number Ford's sales. But Chevy or GMC by themselves could not. So Ford says they out sell Chevy .

In my area (central CA), there are more Silverados than anything else and it's pretty annoying. There was even a Chevy ad awhile back about how the "Silverado is #1 in the central valley."

It's annoying because every Ford hating, ****-talking d-bag on the planet lives here and drives a fixed up Silverado and thinks its the greatest thing on wheels. These queers with their modified 5.3's rev at my stock V6 Ranger and race me when I'm not even aware of their presence and then they act all proud that they beat me. ****ing dumbasses. This is exactly why I never wanted to own a fixed up Silverado, I would be ashamed to be part of that crowd of losers.

Heheheeee, hey, giddy, I take it ye don't want nary GM truck, eh? I'm kind of with ye on that, I traded a Chevy on my F150. So I know that side, and ain't going back. Where I live, it seems to be close to 50/50 I see. Actually, it amazes me that I see so many GM (I just use GM for all those - they're the same) trucks. Most truck boys seem to be a bit too brand loyal. Not me. I'm for reliability. Therefore, I'm in my '02! It's one great truck! Looks new too. Don't get me started.

Seriously man, they're just vehicles, lighten up, calm down.

I'm ashamed to be part of any group that acts the way that you're acting over something so trivial.
Keep in mind, owning the same make/model vehicle as another guy does not mean you have anything else in common with him. I constantly have to remind myself of this while reading posts like yours.

Some of you guys get a little carried away over brand loyalty.
It's a multibillion dollar company, they sold you a machine. Relax.
