Do you have the 36 gallon fuel tank option that the Max Tow Package trucks come standard with?

Nice truck OP. I like the Blue Jeans color. Wish I had that high payload capacity. Mine was exchanged for creature comforts.

massaging seats > payload cause 'murica

In all honesty though some of the creature comforts on these trucks is insane, definitely worth it if payload isnt a number 1 priority.

The only way to get the "Max Tow" package is with a 3.5, which I do not have. Yes, I have the 36 gallon tank. By tow package I'm speaking specifically to the hitch, 7/4 pin connector, and trailer backup assist. I have no factory trailer brake controller, or 3.5 EB, so no max tow.

Do you know if you have the 8.8" rear axle or the 9.75" rear axle?If you have the 8.8 maybe that's why the payload is higher as your truck may be lighter?

Oh I’m sure it’s because it’s lighter. It’s the 8.8, only way to get the 9.75 is with 3.73 gears. 7k GVWR minus 1950 is 5050, so light truck.

That would make sense then my GVWR is also 7K minus the 1,860 lb. payload would mean it weighs 5,140 lbs.!!
