Default The first two weeks - A new F-150 story

I’ve been wanted a new truck for a few years. I finally pulled the trigger on a 2019 Screw 302a with the 3.5 Ecoboost and Max Tow. I didn’t get the 20 inch wheels, and it bums me out that I need them for the big tow rating. However I think I can make do with 10,700 pounds🤪!

The 3.5 motor is amazing. I love the power, but I’ve been babying it. I’m averaging over 20 mpg in mixed driving (20.3 as of tonight after over 600 miles), and a tank has lasted over two weeks of driving.

My first mod was a Line-x bed liner. The Line-x dealer did a crappy job and left a big run on the bed, but I think I can live with it.

My first load was totally apropos, $25 worth of Michigan aluminum can returns and a couple of bags of cement.

I live down the road from the Dearborn Rouge plant, and a lot of my neighbors work for Ford. I’m happy to support them. My wife and I are looking at campers, and I can wait to get out on the road this summer.

nice truck! let me tell you this, if my 4.6 can handle 13,000 pounds then your 3.5 eco is more than capable of handling 10,700 lbs. not to mention your motor has MUCH more hp and torque than mine

how did you get a STX? I ordered 2 weeks ago and all i could find was the Sport package ad on and it wasnt called STX. I for 2wd short bed single cab, 5.0, 3.55 rear, 101A and Sport Trim...
no Stx package showed. I wanted the sport grill and im disappointed. My plan is to just paint the 2 Bars on the Grill and leave the background Black.
