If I buy ten oil changes ten at a time (synthetic blend) I can get them for $15 a piece at local Ford Dealer. That is for oil, filer, labor and check and fill other fluids. I then have them rotate and balance the tires which cost me $24.

I personally don't care about the pricey oil change costs at the dealership.
The reason? In case my engine or tranny has a catastrophic failure, i'm covered maints. wise.

Refer to your manual. Oil changes, tire rotations, and air filter changes are all the required maintenance until you reach 100,000 miles.

Last 2 changes the extra quart was $3.98.

Not bad, considering Walmart gets $4.28 per. https://www.walmart.com/ip/2-Pack-Mo...1-qt/928314611

The dealership that I work for charges as follows:

The works is $39.95. Which includes, rotating tires, 5 qts oil (Motorcraft semi-syn blend), labor, and filter (Motorcraft filter). Any additional oil is $4.00/qt after that. All fluids topped off/checked.

And of course the courtesy inspection.

This is every day prices. I think it's a fair/reasonable deal.

I am in Canada and I bet my dealer is going to charge at least $100. I am going to phone tomorrow.
