Hello, I did my first oil change this week and the drain plug went well....I thought alright good deal, now time for the filter I got the cover undone seen the fancy little drain tray put the pan under it, took the filter off and waited for the oil.......non came that way and then I heard oil hitting the ground looked and it was coming out and all over my epas....hhhhmmmmm.....I then reached up and found that the tray was full of dirt and ran the other way. So to others it might be helpful to check how full that tray is to avoid a future mess like I found out the hard way.........lol. I added pics as well of before and after cleaning.
