Question Financing tires and wheels

I am going to buy a new f150 soon and am curious if any of you have bought a new truck and had the dealership get you specific tires and wheels instead of the stock tires and wheels. I am hoping to simply finance the new tires and wheels with the truck loan. Also, did the dealer give you credit for the stock tires or did you have to pay for them and get to take them with you and sell them yourself. Any information will be appreciated! Thanks!

Why not save up, get them when you can afford them outright?

I believe everything you have the dealer add before pickup is factored into the loan.

I have never heard of a dealer giving credit for factory take offs. I’m sure they’d be happy to sell you new (OEM) wheels in addition to you keeping the stockers.

Lots of dealers will add accessories, wheels and tires to the truck and roll the costs into the loan. And it may a good idea to do so. If you have a good credit rating loans of 2% or less are common. That is a lot better than putting them on Mastercard at 8%-16% interest. And depending on how your state taxes are collected there could be some tax savings by having custom work done at the dealer vs doing it aftermarket. Just check prices 1st. If you can do something aftermarket for $1000 and the dealer wants $2000 it isn't a good deal.

You may get some credit for the take off parts if the dealer thinks they can use them. But probably not. You'd probably be able to sell them for more on Craigslist etc. anyway.

It's not a good idea for many reasons. The dealer will just charge you more to do it and give you half or less what the OEM tires/wheels are worth. Not to mention if you are financing them in, you probably don't have the cash to purchase them outright which means you're that much more upside-down on your loan if you aren't paying cash or putting anything or very little down. Save up more, pay cash and don't finance or charge anything.

And pickup a DaveRamsey book while you're at it...

Hello, if you going to buy a new Ford f150 truck and you don't have money to buy it. Then I would like to share the https://playcasinoscanada.com/refer-friend-bonuses/ website with you where you will find a lot of sites through which you can earn money. I am sure you will earn a lot of money by playing those games and you don't have to take a loan to buy a Ford f150 truck.
