Featurs-n-Options - How Do You Know...
So I'm looking at a 'slightly' used 2017 F150 King Ranch. I found one on-line and pulled the 2017 manual from Ford. Looking at the manual (and all the options) how can I tell how the KR is equipped? They posted the door sticker but that does not seem complete. A VIN lookup gives general information but no details like: Drive control (steering assist), step tailgate, adaptive cruise control, etc. In the past, I've been able to get a copy of the RPO codes for the specific year and then a printout from the car, assuring it's equipped how I need (want ) it. So...is the RPO code list available on a F150? If so where can I get a listing for a specific year and, more importantly, where is it on the specific truck? Thanks in Advance to any-n-all replies....

This site will tell you all the options based on VIN. You'll need to create a free Ford account before it shows you the info:

This is how I usually find the window sticker that will show you what came on it.

Doesnt work 100% of the time, not sure why, but when I was looking at trucks, would use that a couple times a day and had good success.

Since the window sticker sites don’t work reliably anymore, I’ve found the best way is to download the F150 brochure from the year you’re interested in. It’ll show you the options available with each trim and each package and you can probably piece together most of the stuff the truck should have then.
Edit:
Here's the link to the 2017 brochure. You'll want to start around page 21.

The Ford ETIS site I posted above will have all the exact options for the specific truck, based on VIN. If you don't feel like creating the free account, feel free to PM the VIN and I'll run it for you and send you the details on that truck.
